In order to mitigate the economic impact of the Ukraine war and to support severely impacted sectors EU Member States will be able to compensate companies for the additional costs incurred due to exceptionally high gas and electricity prices, grant limited amounts of aid and ensure that sufficient liquidity remains available to businesses.
