This report contains Aurora’s outlook on grid fees in the Netherlands until 2045, based on a target-driven Net Zero scenario. Grid costs in the Netherlands have nearly tripled in the last two years, and are expected to continue to rise significantly. The current Dutch 2024 grid fees for a baseload offtaker are 4x to 12x as high as grid fees in neighbouring countries. If Dutch government policy doesn’t change, the large gap between Dutch grid fees and those in neighbouring countries will remain in 2030.
