This session will focus on the monitoring and measuring of the impact of results.

The day will start with an introduction to monitoring and measuring impact given by Alexander Otgaar, IOB (Directorate for Research and Policy Evaluation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs).

This will be followed by a brief presentation on the monitoring system that the FBK uses. We will continue the program offering you a good example of an existing monitoring system for child labor.

After these sessions the floor is yours!

We would like to invite four projects to present their monitoring and impact measurements systems in an interactive poster-session.

This provides you with the opportunity not only to share your approaches but also to present challenges you encounter. Who knows what interesting solutions you might receive from your fellow participants.

If you want to seize this opportunity let us know and we will add your company/organization to the program. We will provide you with guidance if necessary.

After some well-deserved coffee/ tea we will continue with more in-depth discussions where the following questions will be discussed:

  1. What is the added value of monitoring and measuring impact? Is it worth the investment and efforts?
  1. How to effectively use monitoring and how to embed monitoring and impact measuring in a company?
  1. What are the right indicators to measure effectiveness?

We advise you to reflect in advance at what question or dilemma is most relevant to you.

We will end the day with a plenary end session where we will share key points, takeaways and drinks.

Enclosed you will find the program with further details.
